Want to know the secret to authentic writing?
It's simple: write like you talk.
Okay, maybe not exactly like you talk (unless you want a lot of "ums" and "likes" in your content).
But you get the idea.
One technique that's worked wonders for me is voice recording my first draft.
I just hit record and talk through my ideas as if I'm explaining them to a client.
Then I transcribe it and clean it up.
It's amazing how much more natural and authentic it sounds.
Techniques for authentic writing:
